A game show hosted by Rob Brydon, in which two teams of four celebrities, including captains Lee Mack and David Mitchell, describe crazy, embarrassing and implausible events of their lives. The opposing team score points by deciding what tall stories are true, and which are just a pack of lies. The panelists are introduced to a guest with a secret connection to one of their number, but all must come up with a convincing story. Their opponents have to work out who is bluffing and who is on the level. It is a game of persuasion and bluster, confession and creativity.
